CLEAN and SANITIZE:
Clean and
sanitize have two different definitions. Homes need to be both clean and
sanitized on a regular basis.
Clean: free from dirt or debris.
Sanitize: to
clean something thoroughly by disinfecting or sterilizing it. Any household
objects handled often should be cleaned and sanitized often.
Clean and sanitize
the following on a regular basis:
door
knobs
remote controls
phones
toys
counters
light switches
video game controllers
STOP THE SPREAD OF GERMS:
Despite
myths to the contrary, you cannot catch colds from drafts, or from failing to
wear a scarf or a heavy jacket in cool wet weather. Instead, colds are caused by
viruses and are passed from one individual to another.
Take steps to keep your
child's cold and flu from spreading to others in your household. Teach your
youngsters to wash their hands before meals, properly and frequently.
