RESOURCES:

READING:

Read often to your daycare children.  Lap reading is one of most important influences on children’s literacy.

Reading classics such as Dr. Seuss and Eric Carle will help set a foundation of sight word knowledge (also known as fry's word list.)

The following websites are great resources for increasing child development.

Arizona State Standards

Want to know what your children are being taught and what guidelines you can follow to be helping at home.

Arizona Standards will give you an outline by grade telling you what your child should know for that grade level.

Print these and make a learning center in your day care home to help assist your child’s learning in the home.
