Let us introduce ourselves. We are Children First, a proud sponsor of the
federally funded Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a goal of quality day care.
We provide cash
reimbursement to Child Care Providers for meals served to children in their
care. Children First is funded by the United States
Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The Child
and Adult Care Food Program CACFP has been serving America for nearly
three decades nationwide.

service areas: Pinal, Gila, Apache, Coconino, Cochise, Yavapai and Navajo

FY 2009 TRAINING
Theme: Activities
and Children
S*CCEEDS accredited training open
to public, however if you are not a Children First Child Care
provider you must RSVP so we can prepare space for you. Trainings
are fun and free! Trainings are fast paced and hands on... jokes,
story telling, role play and much more.
Everyone will
receive an activity booklet from Children First at this training
this booklet includes games, learning about food as well as
recycling, and how to practice healthy eating with child friendly
recipes. Please bring a child friendly book for opening book
exchange. This is a required training if you do not attend the
training in your area, please call and make arrangements to attend
at another location. Please arrange for children to stay with back
up care givers, space is limited. Get ready for some fun!
