To all young women ages 12-17 and their parents:

We are pleased to announce that the GFWC State President, Pat Pisarski and the Southeastern President, Sherma Jeane Garner have given the Payson Womans Club an opportunity to sponsor a "Juniorette Club" here in Payson.

The purpose of establishing this club is to give young women (12-17) an opportunity to learn the proper procedures for conducting a meeting using Robert's Rules of Order, gain experience in public speaking and community involvement.

These young women will be conducting their own elections, hold office, and be installed by the Southeastern President of the GFWC. Their club dues will be $20.00 per year, for which they will be responsible for the accounting and budgeting of, and their meetings will be held twice a month.

They will also be responsible for establishing their own fundraisers to raise money for an organization of their choice.  Some volunteering with a community organization will also be a requirement, as giving back to ones community can begin at any age.  Membership in the GFWC Payson Juniorette Club will be beneficial on future employment resumes, as well as college applications.
