The Justice McNeeley Foundation will assist in the medical needs or expenses of children 17 years old or younger. This assistance can be in the form of a direct monetary payment to medical providers or for any other special needs. The Foundation will also assist in the development of a specialized fund-raising effort for specific needs.
The Justice McNeeley Foundation is a 503 non-profit organization that provides financial medical assistance to children 17 years of age or younger.
The Foundation was formed as a result of extra monies raised in August 2004 in seeking to purchase a specialized Go-Bot Wheelchair for Justice McNeeley, a child with spinal muscular atrophy. These extra funds are now available to help other children with medical needs within a 30-mile radius of Pine, Arizona.
Funding is limited to $250, paid directly to the service provider. However, if there is a need for a specialized fund-raising event to help with a major purchase, we are available to help. The types of assistance could be, but are not limited to:
In cases where children are in need of assistance which exceeds the Foundations funding capabilities, we will provide assistance in organizing specialized fund-raising events including, but are not limited to: Poker Runs • Horseshoe Tournaments • Billiard Tournaments • Raffles • BBQ Dinners • Silent Auctions • Yard Sales • Bake Sales • Craft Sales, etc.
The Foundation is made up of a five-member Executive Board that disburses funds when appropriate to the providers of the medical assistance.
Volunteers are need to promote, setup, and participate in fund-raising events.
We are also in need of donations of prizes to award at our event activities.
