Mission Statement:

To preserve the history of Gila County. This is done by taped interviews, written stories, collecting old photographs, recipes, remedies, etc and writing books containing the information we collect. We welcome old Gila County histories.

Community Projects We Sponsor:

We strongly believe in education and give a scholarship each year to a graduating female senior who is a descendant of the Gila County Pioneer families.

The Daughters of the Gila County Pioneers was organized in 1985 to preserve the history of Gila County and to provide a time for the old families to socialize.
