MEMORIAL DAY
is
proclaimed as a National Holiday, set aside to remember
those who have paid the supreme sacrifice and to honor our
veterans and members of the armed forces for their service
to America.
MEMORIAL DAY
is a
proper time to remember our veterans past; re-dedicate
ourselves to the principals and values for which they fought
and died; and pledge our resolve to support our present day
armed forces deployed world-wide. They have fought,
and continue to fight, to preserve and defend our precious
freedoms.
Also, please be reminded that, by Presidential Resolution, at
3:00/PM (local time) on MEMORIAL DAY, all Americans are
asked to voluntarily and informally observe, in their own
way, a moment of silence in honor of the occasion.
For more information, please contact:
Col. Bill Sahno, USMC (Ret) at (928) 472-6617
